RTV31, RTV60 and RTV88 Silicone Elastomers
RTV31, RTV60 and RTV88 are high-temperature two-part silicone elastomers. They are supplied ready-to-use with a base compound and dibutyl tin dilaurate (DBT) as the standard curing agent. While DBT is generally appropriate for most applications, alternative catalysts are available to facilitate deep section cure, faster cure and automated mixing.
These three silicone elastomers differ primarily in viscosity in the uncured state. RTV31 and RTV60 are flowable sealants; RTV88 is a paste sealant.
