Magnasoft 238-LT Textile Enhancer
Magnasoft 238-LT is a textile enhancer based on the (AB)n technology. This material has cyclic’s content (D4, D5, and D6) below 1000 ppm each and meets the latest EU and global regulations.
Magnasoft 238-LT textile enhancer can be effective at dosage levels three to four times lower than amino-silicone softeners. It can help provide outstanding softness and slickness for fibers, fabrics, and garments, while minimizing the yellowing and showing improved shear stability and thermal migration.
Magnasoft 238-LT textile enhancer may be used on a variety of fabrics but shows notable benefits when used for synthetics, synthetics/cotton blends, polyester fleece and wool.

Magnasoft 238-LT textile enhancer has a linear molecular architecture. The product can deliver properties like those of reactive elastomeric finishes, such as durability and resistance. It is effective at 3-5 g/l in the finishing bath, as received. It may provide a high level of natural silky softness to synthetics and their blends with natural fibers.
Magnasoft 238-LT textile enhancer contains hindered amine functionality which ensures lower yellowing. The unique structure of this material provides excellent stability under most finishing conditions including jet/overflow machines.
Magnasoft 238-LT textile enhancer combines hydrophilic and silicone moieties. It is self-dispersible and may be blended directly into the textile finishing bath with minimal agitation. No need for emulsifiers, hence potentially lowering the cost for formulators and mills. It may be co-applied with crease (durable press) resist resins, their catalysts, and optionally OBAs.
